We are pleased to announce details of the 2026 November ecumenical service on one of the Feast Days for his Translation, dedicated to the memory of St. Erkenwald, the patron saint of London. It will take place at 2pm on 14 November,
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, faiths, and denominations to join us in this spirit of inclusivity.The event gains special significance this year as we acknowledge recent historical findings that link the legacy of St. Erkenwald directly to our grounds.
By holding this gathering, we continue our dedication to fostering dialogue and honouring the deep, nationally significant heritage embedded within these walls.
The service will be led by Prior Matthew Jarvis, O.P. of St. Dominic’s – The Rosary Shrine. Following the formal gathering, all attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments. The serivis has the permission of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Shrewsbury, Bishop Mark Davies.
Our Prayer Room offers an intimate setting for this event, with a capacity limited to approximately 20 guests.
