We know that the history we care for matters deeply to many people. Because we are currently managing a period of rapid growth and discovery, we cannot accommodate spontaneous visits to explore the estate at this time. To ensure a smooth experience for every guest, access to our heritage is available exclusively through bookable, guided tours and our cultural programs:

  • Historic Houses Association Tours: We partner with the Historic Houses Association to offer guided visits. All tours must be booked in advance through their platform.

  • Cultural Programs and Events: Our calendar features specific events and trading activities designed to share the rich background of the property.

  • Advance Planning: Please verify that you possess a confirmed booking before traveling to the estate, as unbooked visitors cannot be accommodated.

Soulton Hall is easily found on the valley below Hawkstone Hill by the humpback bridge on the B5065, east of the town Wem. The architecturally ‘correct’ first view is to approach from the A49. The 511 bus will stop at the gate and our nearest rail station is at Wem (taxis should be arranged in advance of travel).

There are 2 EV chargers at Soulton (check availability via the WallBox App). Helicopter landing can be looked after, please give us notice.
