Ecumenical Service for St. Erkenwald’s Day

A special ecumenical service of reflection and worship will be held to mark the November 2026 Feast Day of St. Erkenwald, the patron saint of London.
This inclusive service welcomes attendees from all faiths and denominations, honouring Soulton Hall’s history as a place of sanctuary and the spirit of religious harmony promoted by its builder, Sir Rowland Hill.
The service also acknowledges the recently emerged historical evidence linking St. Erkenwald’s legacy directly to the Hall.
This event is part of the Hall’s ongoing commitment to ecumenism and the preservation of nationally significant religious heritage.
The 2026 November Erkenwald Service will be lead by Prior Matthew Jarvis, O.P of St Dominic’s – The Rosary Shrine.
The Prayer Room in Soulton Hall has a small capacity of about 20, and a certain number of places are already allocated, but please get in touch if you would like to request a free ticket.
There will be light refreshments after the service, also free.
