We’re excited to shine a light on one of Soulton Hall’s fantastic partners: Harriet Love! Not only is Harriet part of the team who cares for the Long Barrow, but she is also a talented local artist renowned for their stained glass creations.
Harriet Love | Stained Glass artist
Harriet’s artistic journey began with a degree in Graphics and Illustration, but her heart was soon captivated by the timeless beauty of leaded stained glass. This endangered centuries-old technique, often seen in grand churches, is an art form she feels privileged to preserve.
Working with colored glass is a mesmerizing experience for Harriet. The process allows her to explore the fascinating interplay of light and pattern. By applying fired-on paints, she meticulously manipulates colors and light, breathing life into each unique design.
The individual pieces create a breathtaking, jewel-like collage.
