Soulton Hall Proudly Hosts First “Creative Discussion”!
Soulton Hall was delighted to be a part of the exciting journey for the Rural Art Hub this week! We recently hosted the first of four “Creative Discussion” Workshops, a project funded by the UK Government’s Vibrant Shropshire Grant Scheme.
This initiative brings people together to imagine a new and inspiring space for creativity in rural North Shropshire. The Rural Art Hub, having relocated from its previous studio in Ellesmere, is now collaborating with Soulton Hall, Berllan Deg Studio, Babbinswood Farm, and Ellesmere Yard to explore inventive ideas for their future home.
The Rural Art Hub’s approach is refreshingly playful, allowing participants to explore their creativity freely. Today’s workshop participants at Soulton Hall embraced the challenge of using playful prompts, exploring mark-making, and creating models to envision a space that fosters limitless creative potential.
It was truly inspiring to witness participants working collaboratively and embracing the “productive mess” that is often central to the artistic process.
Looking to be part of the conversation? The next workshop will be held at Berllan Deg Studio near Bronygarth on Saturday, March 9th, from 2-4 pm.
