In 2023, the world celebrated the 400th anniversary of the publication of the First Folio. Here in North Shropshire, MP Helen Morgan celebrated this by joining the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Shakespeare, underlining our county’s love of, and connections with, the esteemed English dramatist.

Shropshire has a rich history, and our county is connected to all corners of English and Welsh heritage. Tim, James, and Christine’s research into Wem’s links to Shakespeare makes for fascinating reading, and I am pleased to have joined the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the topic to mark North Shropshire’s connection.
