Hosting the North Staffordshire National Trust Association for a Private Tour at Soulton Hall
We were delighted to host the North Staffordshire National Trust Association at Soulton Hall today for a special guided tour exploring Soulton, which they advertised as follows:
“Built by Sir Rowland Hill, Privy Councillor to four monarchs, this Tudor country house has Renaissance codes woven into the structure and a mysterious priest-hole which is unlikely to have hidden a Roman Catholic priest as Sir Rowland was a devout Protestant and the first Protestant Lord Mayor of London… our exclusive tour… will include the Concealed Chapel, the As You Like It Dancing Pavement, (Hill was a cousin of Shakespeare’s mother) the Epidaurus Court and the Wren Steps and will last approximately two hours.
It was a real pleasure to welcome the North Staffordshire National Trust Association today.
Private guided tours like this, led by a family member or expert historian and tailored for groups, can be booked directly by private arrangement. Please reach out via our contact page if you would like to arrange a visit for your group or society.
