On Friday, April 24, the retired Supreme Court judge Lady Arden will discuss the enduring impact of the Magna Carta. This evening also offers a rare opportunity to view the “chair of estate” belonging to Sir Rowland Hill, a 15th-century artifact that survived the Civil War and remains a direct link to the Tudor period.
This event is more than a look into the past; it serves the local community by raising funds for the Shropshire Community Foundation. We appreciate the Whitchurch Herald for helping to spread the word about this gathering and its support for grassroots projects in the county.
