Today, we were delighted to have an informal knowledge exchange visit to Lincoln College, Oxford, which centred on the evolving understanding of Sir Rowland Hill’s legacy and what he was seeking to communicated and secure in the building of Soulton Hall.
We were glad of the opportunity for discussion and information sharing born from a shared, growing interest in these historical threads.
Lincoln College, founded in 1427, provided an evocative backdrop for this exchange. The college’s history, particularly its association with figures who shaped the intellectual landscape of their time, resonated with our exploration of Sir Rowland Hill’s innovative contributions.
The aim was to foster a deeper understanding of these connections, moving beyond isolated facts to a more nuanced narrative.
