Birdsall House: An Elite Events Space, and a Wonderful Return Visit
Nestled on the edge of the breathtaking Yorkshire Wolds, with views that stretch as far as the eye can see, lies Birdsall House.
For generations, this stunning residence has been the cherished home of the Willoughby family, a private sanctuary rarely open to the outside world.

Birdsall House
For us at Soulton, it holds an extra layer of significance, woven through threads of friendships stretching back to the mid-1500s and expressed in the building activities of the two houses, seen very clearly at another significant place to the Willoughby family: Wollaton Hall in Nottinghamshire, of which they were the designers with Smythson.

To have the opportunity to return to Birdsall House was a wonderful opportunity to connect with a history intertwined with our own family’s story for centuries.
