In staging The Last Harvest Soulton Hall witnessed a captivating artistic endeavor unfold. The National Youth Theatre (NYT) brought their production to life in a brand new, earth amphitheatre built especially for the performance.

This innovative show marked NYT’s return to live audiences after a period of online engagement becase of The Situation.

Staged under the open sky, The Last Harvest offered a thought-provoking journey. The audience embarked on a fire-lit promenade spectacle, traversing a dystopian future and reflecting on the present day.

A Response to Our Times

The Last Harvest formed the latest chapter in MELT, a three-year environmental epic co-produced by NYT and the University of Hull. This collaboration aimed to spark vital conversations about our planet’s future.
