Sound at Soulton Long Barrow

Soulton Long Barrow is the venue for an unforgettable evening of deep relaxation this Autumn Equinox.

This special event is hosted by Merryn Tenalach, offering a chance to pause from the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in the resonant tones of crystal sound bowls. The pure vibrations will gently carry your body and mind into a state of profound calm, allowing you to rest in the embrace of both the ancient stone and the shifting of the season.

The sound performance is provided by Beau Oliver and will take place in the second chamber of the barrow. This is a unique opportunity to experience the extraordinary atmosphere of the Long Barrow in a new way. No previous experience is needed—simply bring a mat, chair, or cushion to make yourself comfortable, and a blanket to stay warm. Lie back and allow the rare gift of stillness to unfold around you.

The performance is provided by Beau Oliver and will be a relaxing experience set within the second chamber at the barrow.

Please, park at Soulton Hall (note, lavatories located in Soulton Court) and walk to the barrow.

Dress warmly and for the weather on the evening.

As this is a live performance please ensure you are at the barrow before 7pm.

Important Details

• Parking & Toilets: Please park at Soulton Hall. Toilet facilities are available at Soulton Court, a short walk away. The barrow itself does not have any toilet facilities. From the parking area, it’s a short 10-minute walk following the standing stones to the barrow.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive from 6:30 PM to give yourself plenty of time to get comfortable and set up your space. The performance will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
• What to Bring: A mat, cushion, or chair for comfort, and a blanket to keep warm.
