Formal Closure of Permissive Paths to general public

Due to the persistent high winds and potential damage caused by Storm Amy, all permissive paths and woodland trails on the Soulton Hall estate are formally closed to all members of the public with immediate effect.

This measure is being taken for your safety to mitigate the risks associated with:

Falling trees and branches.

Flying debris.

Extremely muddy and hazardous underfoot conditions.

Warning Regarding Public Rights of Way (PROWs)
We strongly ADVISE AGAINST the use of any Public Rights of Way (PROWs) that cross the Soulton Hall estate while the adverse weather conditions persist.

These footpaths and bridleways may be blocked or highly dangerous due to the storm. Users proceed entirely at their own risk.

The safety of our visitors and the public is our first priority. We urge everyone to heed this warning and stay clear of the paths until the storm has passed and a full safety assessment can be carried out.
