Bluebell Sunday: Walk through the Woods that Inspired Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’

A Charity Event for Macmillan Cancer Support

We are delighted to announce the return of our annual Bluebell opening.

This year, once again, we invite you to step into the “Forest of Arden”—the ancient, magical landscape of Soulton Hall that inspired William Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

Experience the historic Shropshire landscape at its most beautiful, with bluebells at their peak and the rare sound of ascending skylarks.

All proceeds from this event go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support to help their vital work in our local community.

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm

To maintain the tranquility of the woodland, we ask that you book a specific arrival window for your visit:

• Morning Walk: Arrive between 10am – 11am

• Lunchtime Walk: Arrive between 12pm – 1pm

• Afternoon Walk: Arrive between 2pm – 3pm

Admission & Booking

All tickets must be pre-booked online and are non-refundable.

• Adult: £7.50

• Child: £4.00

• Family (2 Adults & 3 Children): £20.00

Visitor Information

• The Terrain: The walk explores natural woodland and field paths. Please bring appropriate footwear (sturdy boots or wellies are recommended).

• Accessibility: Please note that the natural terrain is not suitable for buggies, pushchairs, or wheelchairs.

• Dogs: We welcome dogs, but they must be kept on leads at all times to protect the wildlife habitat.

• Facilities: Enjoy our on-site plant stall and a selection of refreshments available throughout the day.

• Parking: Free parking is available at Soulton Hall for all ticket holders.
