Shakespeare’s Birthday Bash Spotted Near Rhayader in Powys!
We were absolutely delighted to notice (thanks to this article in the Shropshire Star) this fantastic event later this month, albeit over the board in Powis: the wonderful Willow Globe is hosting its annual Shakespeare’s Birthday Bash on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, for anyone near Rhayader.
This free community event in Powys is the perfect way to mark the start of the Willow Globe’s season and give a hearty cheer for the Bard’s birthday.

Expect a vibrant afternoon filled with impromptu performances (dust off your Shakespearean monologues!), a chance to discover more about the fantastic work of Shakespeare Link and the Willow Globe itself, and find out how you can get involved in their future projects.
And let’s not forget the essential celebratory elements: the bar will be open, and there’s the promise of delicious homemade cake! It sounds like the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, soaking up some culture and community spirit in beautiful Powys.
