Today we visited Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, for a special day of historical exploration. This visit was concerned with the historical association between Sir Rowland Hill and Archbishop Matthew Parker.

Sir Rowland Hill, a pivotal figure in English history, was a friend and of Archbishop Matthew Parker.

Their collaboration extended beyond the realm of religious reform, with both men deeply interested in the preservation of historical knowledge.
A highlight of the visit was a tour of the renowned Parker Library at Corpus Christi College. This exceptional collection, is thought to have been kept safe at Soulton during the 1550s, a time when it might otherwise have been lost. It houses a wealth of invaluable manuscripts, printed books, and artifacts.
We had the privilege of viewing some of these treasures, gaining insights into the intellectual and cultural landscape of the Tudor period.
