We were recently pleased to participate in a Cambridge University study looking into financial governance and conduct in the mutual insurance sector.

The core of the research investigates how an insurance cooperative maintains legitimacy with its members.

This independent academic inquiry examines critical friction points such as claims experiences, risk pricing, policy exclusions, underinsurance, and environmental, social, and governance issues.

This allows good conduct to be celebrated and poor or worse conduct investigated and set before appropriate audiences.

Ultimately, insurance relies on a foundational protection promise. Participating in this project offers vital insight into how member-owned institutions prioritize collective value, preserve trust, and navigate the future of responsible and ethical financial governance.
