Soulton Hall is pleased to be noting that our friends and collaborators were recently invited by Oxford University’s Centre for Early Medieval Britain & Ireland to speak at Balliol College.
On the afternoon of 29 May, team members Marc S., Matt W., Andrew, and Æd T. led a workshop for university faculty and students, sharing their reconstruction methodologies and insights, followed by an interactive handling session with their portable collection.
Organised by Dr Helen Gittos, the gathering brought together leading scholars in archaeology and early history, sparking engaging discussions and new avenues of inquiry. We are glad to share news of this notable platforming for our friends.
