Soulton recently hosted a fundraising event in its woodlands, linked to As You Like It, in support of Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire.

The event was well-attended and benefited from favourable weather.
Commenting for the local fundraising group, a spokesperson said:
The event went so well and, again, we were lucky with the weather.
It was a uniquely special day and, without exception, everyone enjoyed it so much.
I can now let you know the amount raised: £2,495.20, which we are absolutely delighted to receive for Macmillan in Shropshire.
