Sweeney Hall in Oswestry recently hosted a one-day exhibition featuring three different artists:
- Blacksculpt Stained Glass,
- Simon James O’Rourke, and
- Alfie Bradley.
The show was a mix of media and styles.
Blacksculpt Stained Glass showed a modern approach to the classic craft, with their pieces manipulating light and color. This was set against Simon James O’Rourke’s detailed wood carvings, which turn timber into expressive sculptures. The third artist, Alfie Bradley, displayed his metalwork, often made from repurposed materials.
The collaboration of these three artists created a diverse and engaging display which it was a pleasure to view and discuss.
