Today, we participated in meeting of historians which took place near Charing Cross, the central London landmark. This junction, where six routes converge and which has served as the city’s notional centre and measuring point since the early 19th century, provided a fitting backdrop for their discussions.

While details of the meeting remain private, the energy was of lively exchanges and potential collaborations.

It’s always encouraging to see such passion for the past coming together. The echoes of London’s long and fascinating story added another layer to their important work.
