London twin: Guildhall and a familiar doorcase.

What is of greatest interest, however, is the doorcase on the right, which is very similar to our own Restoration doorcase added to the Hall to celebrate a family wedding. This is so useful in showing the enduring connections between Old Sir Rowland’s building and the City of London which he adored.

Many thanks to friends in China for reuniting us with an architectural City twin!
