‘Wave of Light’ @ ​Soulton Long Barrow

Soulton Long Barrow invites the community to a Wave of Light, a respectful gathering of reflection, remembrance, and gentle connection.

This ceremony will open the long barrow to light, offering a space for contemplation, reflection , and the shared acknowledgment of grief.

​Originally begun as a heartfelt ending to Baby Loss Awareness Week, the Wave of Light has grown to embrace grief in all its forms, offering a quiet space for anyone who has experienced loss to remember, reflect, and find comfort in shared presence.

​Set amidst the stones and quiet of the long barrow, the evening will blend quiet, presence, and nature to create a sanctuary for the heart and spirit. Attendees are invited to move slowly, reflect, and participate in simple acts of remembrance, creating a collective moment of light, connection, and hope.

​In the wake of recent attacks affecting the Jewish community, the ceremony will also hold space for those grieving or impacted, offering a compassionate and supportive environment to process and reflect.
