Supporting Oxford Univeristy Outreach at Thomas Adams – Physics & Archaeology

27 March

Radcliffe Camera, Oxford

We are proud to once again provide in-kind support for the recurring Oxford University outreach visit to Thomas Adams School.

This event has become a settled custom for Wem, maintaining a direct link between our local comprehensive school and the academic community at Lady Margaret Hall (LMH), Oxford. This year’s session brings a particular focus on the intersection of Physics and Archaeology.

Our Role While the academic work takes place at the school, Soulton Hall provides the logistical and hospitality support behind the scenes. This in-kind contribution ensures that visiting researchers can focus entirely on engaging with the students.

A Partnership of Standards This custom continues because of the high reputation of Thomas Adams. The school’s students consistently demonstrate the intellectual grit and curiosity that Oxford seeks. By bridging the gap between Shropshire and the university, we help ensure that local talent has a clear, familiar pathway to the highest levels of research.

It is a privilege to support Thomas Adams as they foster the next generation of scientists and historians.
