The Open Day Details
The Barrow, managed by our partners at Sacred Stones, is a space dedicated to fostering thinking, kindness, harmony, and inclusion, open to people of all faiths and none.

- Location: Soulton Long Barrow, near Soulton Hall, Shropshire.
The Barrow serves as a living memorial to members of our community whom we have loved and lost.
It is a space for quiet reverence, inspiring all who enter to treat it with the same respect you would show a cherished community chapel.

Please note the following practical details to ensure your visit is as reflective and seamless as possible:
- Parking: Guests are asked to park at Soulton Hall and enjoy the gentle 10-15 minute walk to the Barrow, following the line of the standing stones.
- Access: If you require closer parking for accessibility, please contact Sacred Stones ahead of time to make a limited reservation.
- Facilities: Toilets are available at Soulton Court, adjacent to the Hall’s parking area. There are no facilities at the Barrow itself.
- Confirm: We encourage all visitors to confirm arrangements directly with Sacred Stones via the contact details below, just in case of any last-minute changes.

Mark your calendar for the shortest day of the year! This year’s Winter Solstice marks a significant five-year anniversary: the completion of the Soulton Long Barrow in December 2020. As the sun sets on the shortest day, we will host a quiet, informal gathering at the Barrow.
- This is a special opportunity to witness the Winter Solstice light and a time to reflect on the enduring human experience the Barrow represents.
