A Visit to the Modern Barrow Sparks Discussions on Time, Literature, and the Land
Today, a homeschool group explored the intersection of history, literature, and landscape with a visit to the Soulton Long Barrow and the Soulton landscape in Shropshire.
The group directly observed the long barrow and considered its potential representations and construction methods.
The writings of William Shakespeare were also discussed with reference to the links to As You Like It that exist at Soulton.
