Thomas Adams School and Lady Margaret Hall Collaboration

Soulton Hall was pleased to support an access and participation outreach event for Oxford University, which was run at Thomas Adams School in Wem.

The initiative saw Professor Todd Huffman deliver classes on particle physics and Dr. Joshua Bennett lead classes and lectures on history for Thomas Adams School students.

Beyond the academic sessions, the event also provided crucial information regarding the application process for higher education. Representatives from Oxford University offered guidance on navigating applications, personal statements, and interviews. Furthermore, the event highlighted the various forms of support available to students throughout their journey to university, aiming to demystify the process and encourage applications from a wider range of backgrounds.
