Some fresh art has been added to Rosalind’s Cottage.

The cottage’s collection has recently been enriched by two intriguing acquisitions. First, a set of costume designs, envisioned by the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí, have been hung for display. The specific characters depicted in these designs include Oliver, Duke Senior, Duke Fredrick, Orland Celia and Rosalind.
Dalí’s interpretation of Shakespearean attire certainly piques the imagination.

Equally captivating is the addition of an original 1932 poster for the Laurence Olivier 1932 Film of “As You Like It”. This poster provides a fascinating glimpse into theatrical marketing of the era and complements the costume designs beautifully.
