The Most Excellent Sausages from the Kenyan Pig Farmer!
We recently had the pleasure of receiving a delivery of some truly exceptional sausages, all the way from Hampshire’s Kenyan Pig Farmer!
For those unfamiliar, Flavian Obiero, also known as “the Kenyan pig farmer”, is a Hampshire County Farms tenant who manages a 61-acre mixed farm with his partner Nikki and son Noah. They have pigs, sheep, and goats which they sell direct to customers and thier catering business, with any surplus heading to a local farm shop.
Flavian’s passion for agriculture extends far beyond his own farm. He is a dedicated Trustee for the Jamie’s Farm Charity, a wonderful organization that works to provide opportunities for young people in disadvantaged communities.
Flavian is also a wonderful champion for both improving diversity within British agriculture and fostering stronger connections between producers and consumers.
But back to those sausages!
We can’t wait to tuck into these delightful deliveries and savor the taste of Flavian’s dedication and expertise.
