Wander through this historic woodland\, carpeted with vibrant bluebells\, and imagine yourself in the Forest of Arden. \nAS YOU LIKE IT Blue Plaque at Soulton Hall \nDate: Saturday\, April 26th Time: 10am – 4pm (Arrive between designated time slots – see below) Location: Soulton Hall\, Wem\, SY4 5RS \nAbout the Event: \nExperience the beauty of spring in a truly unique setting. This family-friendly event offers a chance to explore the stunning bluebell displays at Soulton Wood while supporting a vital cause. Enjoy the fresh air\, connect with nature\, and help Macmillan continue their invaluable work supporting people affected by cancer. \n\nThe Forest of Arden is central to Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’: it is a realm of transformation and harmony. Inspired by Thomas Lodge’s Rosalynde (1590)\, which found its roots in Soulton Wood\, on the Lodge family estate\, and then the estate of ‘Old’ Sir Rowland Hill. The local of Soulton Wood thus connects these two pivotal texts. \nTimed Walks: \nTo manage visitor flow and ensure everyone has a pleasant experience\, we have three arrival time slots: \n\nMorning: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM\nLunchtime: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM\nAfternoon: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM\n\nPlease arrive within your chosen time slot. \nTickets (Pre-booking essential): \nSecure your tickets online now!
